It came in pink and my hamster a dude! I need a blue one !

I bought this about a week ago online for teenagers who got a hamster. We Order the teal one because they got a Boy and what do we get a Pink one. (Now they opened it before I could send it back. ) Otherwise great little cage for there boy Bear.

It's a small animal cage, pain and simple. While assembly was a bit of a hassle manipulating all the pieces so they would fit together, one the more difficult bits were together it was a breeze.

I ordered this for my young female gerbil. It came in the pink color and it is very cute. She was able to chew on the plastic in his previous habitat but not this one. She seems very excited to have an upstairs for her eating and grooming and a downstairs for her sleeping and playing. :)

I was looking for a cage for a dwarf hamster, and this one seemed to be just right. We had to order it from the PetSmart website because it was not available in store. I knew that it could be blue or pink, and a pink one arrived. The size was right, BUT —>> the side door DOES NOT LATCH (unless I secure it with twisties) and the wheel DOES NOT TURN! Also , unlike all other cages sold, it DOES NOT HAVE A WATER BOTTLE!! I had to go buy a water-bottle before the hammy could move in, and, when I realized that the wheel did not turn, I had to buy one of those also.

I think this is a better product then the cage I bought before because the mettle is going vertical rather than horizontal. In my horizontal cage my hamsters would flatten out and squeeze through. I have a feeling this won’t happen with the vertical cage. I found a glass fish tank that I had used before in my basement which is working for now so I am going to return this product. But we had to do a lot of work to get the fish tank to work so I over all think the cage would be better.

Very pleased with the small animal house. It has a nice open design. Easy to clean.
