I fed these to my hamster for a while. Then noticed one day when she was active she was trembling. I fed her one of these to see if it would calm her trembling down and it did. Then I looked at the ingredients. Sugar is the #1 ingredient. Terrible for small animals, bad really for any animal. Now I’m having to figure out how to wean her off of these. I’m pretty concerned about her health right now as I think she has become diabetic with this product. Her health was fine in the beginning.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can this work for mice?

    Yes! My vet recommended these for my mice when I asked her some good treats to buy. Most hamster products are safe for mice, it's just that hamsters are more popular pets and stores try to target the most popular pet to make more money. One of my mice didn't like these, but Mimi loves them! They are a good training/bonding treat. Just be sure not to feed them too often, as they aren't exactly healthy.
