I've been giving my guinea pigs this for a supplement and it's been working great. When I got Sebastian he was 3 months so I only did 16 drops, but Sincestian is now 8 months I was thinking putting the full dose of 32 drops in the water. But Cosmo is only five months. If I went to 32 drops would it be bad for Cosmo? I do have two water bottles but they share everything so either way he will drink the other bottle.
Why can't I give my guinea pig Vitamin C drops in their water?
Im worried about my guinea pig, Tazo who I just got on July 1. I dont think he is eating enough vitamin C. I observed cage where he came from and noticed that he was only fed timothy hay, kaytees fortified daily pellets, and lettuce. He is brave enough to be hand fed by me. I tried had feeding him bell pepper but all he does is sniffs it and looks at me as if i am giving him a piece of cardboard to eat. Ive also tried putting it into a bowl and letting him eat it. Could you help me please?
I was wondering If our guinea pig could get the vitamin c he needs without drops (how much fruit and veggies a day) and if drops are necessary how do I go about giving those. Also can he have a bath and will he be comfortable if we get two more males. We just got him about two weeks ago. He’s finally getting used to us. Would adding more guinea pigs throw that off a little and are mineral chews necessary? And is newspaper ok as bedding.
What can I feed my bunny if I want to treat him?
So a buy a female guinea pig but she only wants to eat hay, I'm trying to give her salad like carrots and other cainds or dried food but she don't want it, she is 2 month old that's what they told me on petco
Is there a brand of food that dont contain the pellets, I've noticed that my guinea pig doesn't like eating the pellets in her food...she eats everything but the pellets & we end up throwing the pellets out so we refill her dish...we give her hay as well but I'm worried that she might not be getting enough food...she's not losing weight so far.
I have a male guinea pig with vitamin c deficiency but I don't have a vet nearby who treats small animals so how am I supposed to treat him.
My mom accidentally bought hamster food, and i found out just now. But my guinea pig seems to like hamster food more than guinea pigs’ Is it okay to feed her this? Since my mom bought a huge pack of those accidentally.. and my guinea pig likes it a lot
Hello, I was wondering what would be the best food for pet mice when they are fat. His current food is: Daily blend wild harvest, his previous food was: vita prima rat mouse and gerbil formula.
Can guinea pigs be given raisins or any pulses or wheat?
My 2 guinea pigs seem to be constantly hungry. I feed them the recommended cup of fresh vegetables, the 1/8 cup of pellets and some hay but before the end of the day they go crazy, crying and chewing and won't rest until they are fed again. Feeding that would usually consist of some additional hay or maybe some carrot. Am I doing something wrong or is it just their additional needs as they grow?
