KetoChlor is applied topically when bathing your pet. It is important that the lather be allowed to remain on the pet for at least 5-10 minutes each time the shampoo is applied. My cocker spaniel has awful issues with allergies. When she gets a flare up it starts in her ear and then becomes systemic through her sticking her paws in her ears and then licking her paws. We are now dealing with a yeast infection of her skin. Currently using malacetic shampoo to bathe her, but that doesn't seem to deter the growth. She has licked herself raw in areas. Last night we bought a hot spot foam and a collar to deter licking. Any suggestions on other treatments for the yeast?
