Connect garden hose to the sprayer. Turn on water. Hold down the lock tab and turn nozzle to the on position. Spray evenly over entire yard or kennel. Cover area, but do not saturate to puddle or run-off. Do not rinse, allow product to air dry thoroughly. This product is not known to harm trees, shrubs or flowers. To help reduce the occurrence of fleas and ticks, this product is best used year round, when weather permits.

Questions
Is Vets Best Flea and Tick yard spray safe around wild birds. I have a bird feeder but sometimes the birds walk on the ground to pick up what dropped.
Does this kill beneficial soil and garden bugs?
How long does the spray take to work? My neighbor hoards feral cats and after spraying, there's still fleas in my back yard over 24 hours later.

Could this be used in a basement that is infested with fleas?
- icu has good ideas! I think if you used a portable sprayer and could figure out how to dilute this product to the appropriate ratio, you could spray your basement well with it. However, I wouldn't let your pets in the basement until it had dried, even if you use the other house product. The smell from that much concentrated saturation will make them quite ill. Most pets can't inhale essential oils. You might consider your own lungs as well. The essential oils' volatility has to dissipate before they can be in that space. Same goes for using oils in a burner or diffuser. It's a NO-NO except for a very few types of oils.
