Burned my cats neck

This collar burned the skin on my cats neck! And it didn’t even kill the dam fleas. I don’t recommend this at all. It’s dangerous.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Waste of money

Absolutely worthless. I purchased two collars for my cats and they were infested with ticks right around the collar. One of them had 6 embedded in the neck and the other had 2. I'm looking to get my money back as this product definitely is not effective against ticks like it claims.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought two of these and one broke before I even could put it on. I suggest going with hertz. Easier to thread though clasp for assembly and better material.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great collar

Our domestic short hair (m) got some ticks at the beginning of spring. So we put a seresto collar on him and it burned his hair and skin off. So we let his skin heal and put this collar on him. We had to remove ticks that were already on him from having nothing for two weeks. But since then, it was worked great. It has a peppermint smell that reminds me of Christmas. His hair is growing back. He is a happy boy. We are happy owners. I feel like this collar works better on cats than dogs. With dogs I think it works better for specific breeds. I wish it got rid of existing ticks so I wouldn't have to wrestle with him to get them off. I could only do a tick or two at the time. But we have not seen one since putting the collar on. Or fleas. Very happy with this.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Do not get

I don't recommend getting this for your cat. One of the main ingredients is peppermint and it is toxic to cats. If you got this and your cat is still itching it's because they are having a reaction

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works great for our “mostly indoor” cat! Keeps her safe when visiting the back yard and from our pup who is in and out all day!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Can you use other flea treatments such as frontline while using this collar?

Is it water proof, How long does it last ?

    1. It lasts for up to 4 months and it is water resistant. If your pet will be fully submerged in water I would remove the collar. I don't work for this company, but I personally would recommend changing the collar more frequently than once every 4 months if it will be getting wet often. This collar uses essential oils to repel fleas and ticks, so I would imagine it becomes less effective each time it gets wet (due to the essential oils seeping out/coming off).

Will this collar repel mosquitoes? My cat is allergic to Mosquitoes so I’m trying to find something that will repel them.

How do I get the Vet's Best collar on my rescue cat? I also can't figure out how it works. What do I do?

What are the 91% INERT INGREDIENTS??  That is most of what is in the collar, yet no information on the other ingredients? Please let me know, Sorresto, made our dog deathly ill, she almost died.. so I am concerned about our kitties. They do not go outside

        1. If you click on the top picture, so it zooms in. underneath where it has the ingredients at there is an * that tells you the rest of the ingredients that is listed for the Inert ingredients. This will answer your question.
