Yeah or nay on digestive enzyme supplement for cats? Been adding it to my 4 cats (age 1, 6, 8, n 9) moist and sometime dry food, a powder mix from Mercola cause i have been told that it will help but also have read articles that it wont. All of my cats are healthy but 1 had vomited on many meals right after before i added it to her food. Also thoughts on probiotics. Thank you
Is it ok for me to start my cat on a probiotic without consulting a vet? I had my cat on a weaker active probiotic in a treat and it really stops the watering in his eyes. I just don't feel like needing to ask my vet because they might have a different perspective that I don't have! I ordered it online . The brand is DogGone Best! It is 1.25 billion live ingredients and enzymes! Powder form!

I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. My cat has been on nature variety pride flaked tuna cat food cans for a while and he loves it. Recently I have been treating him with a little orijen chicken formula kibbles here and there then yesterday and today he has been having diaherra, I am guess it is the orijen? He has no other symptom but that, would total-botic probotic for cats given daily help his diaherra? Would pumpkin too? As dental treats I give him virbac treats but I am switching to plaque off hard dental treats.
Hello! I want to give my kitty probiotics with her antibiotics and after the course as well . I have one that has only lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidobacteruim longus ( 5 billion cfu each ) is this enough to help her ? Or is it better to get something with more strains ? Also , is it true that it's best to give in between meals because they get destroyed in stomach acids ? (I am not interested in fortiflora or other commonly prescribed reccs ,,Thank you !!
