Hello, Is this joint supplement good for my cat, sweetie to try with a little salomn oil? The Chondroitin in it is made of shark cartilage. I sadly can not use cosequin on her because sweetie is sensitive to chrondroitin made of porcine or beef cartilage which is why I am considering this one. I also have a 5 year old male should I give it him to prevent joint issues already? The product is Wholistic Pet Organics Run Free: Joint Health Supplement - Natural Hip and Joint Supplement
My cat was diagnosed with degenerative joint disease in April and I’ve been giving her 200 mg of glucosamine every day since then (Pet Naturals of Vermont hip + joint chews) when I first started giving them to her she stopped limping and seemed to be back to her old self. But she’s starting to show symptoms again. She’s not limping but whenever she sits she holds her paw off the ground. Can I give her 500mg a day? Does what I’m giving her now help with pain? If not what can I give her?
What joint health supplement is recommended for a 5 month old kitten, diagnosed with genetic fragile bones and has a broken patella, already.
My cat has a UTI and she has really bad car anxiety and instead of taking her to the vet, I was going to try the Well & Good Urinary Support Cat Chews first. Is this what you would recommend?
Product recommendation pls: naturvet Omega gold plus salmon oil chews vs VetriScience derma strength every day health chews; pls see attached pics. Looking for Omega 3 supplement (chews). Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. On the other hand, I would like to know where/how I can get cytopoint, asked my vet but they don't have it. Thanks !
Is 150mg of gabapentin presented in cat food appropriate for a 15 lb cat that is 3 years old prior to nail cutting?
Our cat is 13 years old. He has a lax "knee joint " on his left hind leg, and hip issues as well. We use boxes as stairs so he can climb up on his favorite places. He will not take Tramadol, and glucosamine apparently is out because he's a Maine Coon, and our vet says that that breed can have heart issues from glucosamine. He also has aches and pains which we think are from a mild case of dermal blastomycosis, which he was diagnosed with five years ago. Wish we could help him . Any ideas?
Does the Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Cat Paw Gel work to maintain urinary pH for struvite stone dissolution and prevention? My cat has a past history of struvite stones (8 years ago) and doesn't eat the urinary SO diet (wet or dry) She is a picky eater and will only eat the blue wilderness salmon high protein wet food when I gave her options. But, I read online that some pet owners have used regular high protein wet food in addition to this nutri-vet or other dl-methionine supplements.
Can we give a calcium supplement bought from the pet store for kittens ( 3months, 1.8kg,male mainecoon mix). It is tablet form with dosage for kittens.
Got suggested therapy with meloxicam and glucosamine for my bunny's hip. There isn't a specialized glucosamine for bunnies, and my vet suggested Flexadin tablets. 1/4 of it a day for my 2kg bun. The ingredients per tablet (2 g): Glucosamine HCI 500mg; Chondroitin sulfate 400 mg; Harpagophytum procumbens (devil's claw) 150 mg; Manganese sulfate (provides 10 mg of manganese) 31.2 mg; Contains poultry flavour (vegetable origin). Is this safe? Attached x-ray and product. I appreciate your help.
Is there an over the counter supplement I can give my cat for interstitial cystitis? She's 8. Good appetite and very loving.
CARESHARE Is 1 ml enough for my 5 yr old 10 lb cat for pain relief? He was involved in a cat fight and sustained superficial Injuries but I can tell he is hurting a little. Sorry, I thought I put the name of the medication. It's Gabapentin. It was given to me by my vet to decrease my cat's anxiety when taking him to checkups.
