The vet gave me a prescription for rimadyl because manski had some stiffness in his hips and I noticed him moving slower. I cannot continue this pain medication due to the cost so my question is, the supplement cosequin that addresses arthritis and joint pain would that be a good alternative and I can afford that

How can I help my dog with his arthritis
Please help. My 14 year old englis springer spaniel has arthritis and her back legs are starting to cross inwards when out walking. She cant walk very far. She is on 100mg tramadol every 12 hours. Please is there any natural fish oils she can take with tramadol. Thank you so much in advance Jane
Which natural nutritional supplements do you reccomend for my Cavalier? I want to keep my girl healthy and with me for as long as possible. Cavaliers are known to have many health issues; particularly heart, eye, and joint.
My dog has been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis The medicine for Osteoarthritis contains glucosamine 500mg chondroitin 400mg and msm 400mg in one capsule. She also has kidney (stage 3) and liver problem. So will this glucosamine chondroitin and msm damage liver and kidney?
My buddy, Peanut, is a senior of 10 years. He is very healthy, but I would like know what, if any supplements I could give Peanut to aid in him while aging. What should I look for? What should I avoid? I want the most scientifically advanced, proven supplement available. He's currently on a quality, grainfree kibble as I realize that proper diet and exercise is of most importance. Thank you kindly for any suggestions!
My 14yr old lab is suffering from arthritis badly in her hips. What can I give her to help ease her pain that isn't a narcotic remedy but holistic instead? She's been my loyal friend, legs, & service dog for years & now it's my turn to comfort her as much & more like she's done for me! I live in Washington where CBD is legal & that does help her tremendously but she's still in pain, unable to get up at times without great effort, & at times her hips tremble. What do you suggest to help?
Can a Puppy grow into their rear kneecaps if popping in/out of place? What can I give for Joints to help make them strong?
I brought my one year old toy aussie to the vet because she was favoring her back right leg and wouldn't stand. We got to the vet he gave her a physical exam and determined both knees have patella luxation. He prescribed 10 days of Rimadyl, told me to watch her for 3-4 weeks and that she would need surgery. He didn't suggest supplements for joint health or do any sort of xrays, bloodwork or anything because I saw this all mentioned in my research. Shoykd I be concerned and get a second opinion?
