I gave this to my dog b/c we have a friend that comes over about once a week. It took a few hours to work and shortened my dog's barking jags.

This really helps my little dachsie with his separation anxiety, a double dose when he is acting very stressed. There have been no side effects, and my vet approves. Since Maynard thinks it's a treat, administration isn't a problem. Th price is reasonable, and the product arrives promptly.

Dog does not like the taste and won't eat. Too bad.

I have a reluctant "city Norwich terrier little girl". This treat seems to take the edge off some of her distress of some of the loud noises that bother her. She gets one first thing in the AM before her first walk. I've been using for about one year now and have seen imporovement!

Doesn't affect my little Dachshund one bit. Doesn't help her anxiety.

Tried this for the first time today. The bag is tiny and the chews are small. It concerns me that one of these "chews" is for dogs under 25 lbs, I wish it was made for 10, or even 15, lbs and under as something made for 25 lbs seems like a lot for tiny dogs. Since my dog is only 6 lbs I only gave him half (plus it was also his first one). He ate it but didn't seem thrilled with the taste. It does have a strong smell (I have very little sense of smell so if I think the smell is strong, it is). About 30 to 40 minutes after giving him half he seemed zoned out, like he was in a trance. :( I really did not like that, it actually made me nervous. I know this is to calm him but I didn't expect him to be in a trance like state. I called his name and he didn't even look me (he ALWAYS looks at me when I call his name). One hour and 15 minutes after giving it to him I took him to the vet (previously scheduled appt, totally unrelated to the chews). He still shook like a leaf in car. There was construction right next door to the vet's office which caused the entire building to vibrate, plus the noise level was very loud. Needless to say, he shook the entire time but, given the circumstances, who could blame him. I couldn't truly form a full opinion but it did wear off about 2ish hours after giving it to him. The trance like state concerns me greatly.

It didn’t phase my 12 pound dog. I wouldn’t recommend.

My dog loves the flavor and comes and asks for one every morning. They have really made a difference in her temperment. Even the neighbors commented when we first started giving them to her. She has beed taking them for over five years, and I wouldn't consider stopping.
