Don't do repeat delivery

Wilson828

The item isn't bad but do NOT sign up for repeat delivery. I cancelled the repeat delivery when they sent me a reminder and it said it went through and not only did they process it anyway their system somehow managed to not only process it on a cancelled repeat delivery but they also managed to bypass a cancelled card in order to charge me. When I contacted customer service they stated that not only could they not cancel the order but their "system" supposedly can't refund the order until it ships and they only did that as a "courtesy" even though its their system that made a really awful mistake. So if you're considering doing repeat delivery just don't.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I absolutely hate when we run out of composure. It's great for construction next door, fireworks, jets overhead, pre-vet visits, new fosters, etc. Composure is an absolute godsend!

Multiple uses on multiple dogs

Foster mom

We have many rescue dogs, and foster rescues. We have wonderous thunderstorms, windstorms, fireworks, and live next to a military base. I have even had a dog tear up a room with his anxiety. I hate ACE and what it does to many dogs. OTC B does not work on most dogs I have seen. This stuff is wonderful. I have only had 1 that it did not work on. Last night for example, we had a huge windstorm. Helped calm down the crew... enough to let everyone rest.

Bad reaction to this product.

My 80lb Lab/Pit did not tolerate these calming tabs. I only gave her two in one day, then one the second day. She became withdrawn and her stomach made extremely loud gargling noises. She is a healthy dog and up to date with all vaccines. I will donate them to a local animal rescue shelter.

Questions

What if your dog got into the package and ate a lot of them?

  1. I don't know but have increased like doubled the amount I give him in a bad storm and he has had no adverse effects. He is a large black lab and I give him 4 in a normal storm. They do work very well. They work the best if we give them to him when the storm is coming in not after it is here.

How long does this work for, ( talking about the day) or I mean hours?

  1. I have an 80 pound dog, and I don't notice much of a difference with his behavior. If anything, it is slight for 3-4 hours.

I have a pitbull/German sheperd mix puppy that weights 26 lbs. Is it safe to give him these? or would the composure for small breeds be more affective?

  1. I have 2 small breed dogs, a 17lb Chi-On (Chihuahua Papillon mix) & a heavy 20lb Shi-Poo (Shih-Tzu Poodle mix). I give them 1 full chew before storms or fireworks start. It seems to help. I would suggest you start with 1 chew then wait an hour & see if it has an affect on your dog. If you don't notice enough of a change give the dog another chew. Then check again after another hour. Be sure to do this a couple hours before the storm or fireworks start so that when they do start your dog has already calmed down. If the storm continues for an hour or more give 1 or 2 more chews (or fireworks if you have multiple fireworks happening in your town like I do. Multiple subdivisions have their own fireworks so it can aggravate the dogs for an hour or 2) based on what you observed in the 1st hour after the initial chew, if it worked give 1 more chew or if you needed to give a second chew at the 1 hour mark then give 2 more chews. Hope this helps.

Does this product expire?  I have some that is a few years old and wonder if it is still good to use.  Thanks.

Can this be given to a puppy  20 lbs Goldrndoodle , 15 wks old

Our dog is very protective of our house, he growls and shows teeth to anyone that comes over..even if hes met them 1000 times. It is to the point of possible re-homing. He has even bitten someone once. Is this product recommend?

      1. fish oil can help calm him

How many hours does this chew work?

      1. Hi, Please see below for the directions. Up to 50 lbs: 1 chew daily.51-100 lbs: 2 chews daily.Over 100 lbs: 3 chews daily.Product can be given daily or on an as-needed basis. It is safe to double or triple the dose in times of increased stress. Thanks,
