I know Carprofen is a pain medication put is it for hip Dysplasia
I rescued a dog that came with Carprofen(2×per day) and Rimadyl(3x per day). Can I give them to her together and which one is better before bed ?
What is the percentage of dogs that have experienced renal injury from taking Carprofen and Benazepril daily. My 85lb Golden/Lab mix, Buddy, has been using Carprofen for 5 years due to arthritic pain. Recently our Vet after extensive testing has determined Buddy is losing protein through his kidneys and has prescribed 20mg of Benazepril 2x per day. Your site and PetMD.com both state there may be Drug interaction. If OK to continue do you think Benazapril is better with or without food. Opinion?
Is it safe to give my dog a carprofen tablet? It was prescribed a while ago for stiff joints and I didn't give her any. She has an upset stomach (had the runs) and seems to have tummy pain.
i gave my dog a 100mg tab of vetprofen. My vet did some dental work and told me to give him half a tab. Is this a major problem????????
My 25lb female Terrier mix ate a 75mg Carprofin pill not meant for her. Should I take her to an emergency Vet?

What is a good joint medication for a dog who is ten years old?
My dog had surgery today on his leg. He weighs 31 lbs and I just accidentally gave him a whole 75 mg Vetprofen. I didn't realize that I was only supposed to give him half. I was informed he was give a pain shot, but it might be best to go ahead and give him the pain medication tonight. Will he be ok with that dose?
My dog was prescribed caraprofen yesterday for an injury to his leg. He also seems to be having an allergic reaction to something and has lumps all over his body. Our old vet gave use a prescription for the lumps (prednisone?) and I was wondering if it was safe to give him both medications?
What can you give dogs for pain?
