My 16 year old dog has been taking Vetoryl for 2 weeks, she went herself twice today, was sick 48hrs ago ( isotope test normal at vets). She has lost weight has loose stools and no appetite and very tired . Dose 30mg. I'm worried sick.
Can Vetoryl cause hind leg paralysis? Depression? What is treatment for these side effects? Also what natural treatment can be used.
Dog takes vetoryl in morning. Accudentally give another dose this evening. What do i do?
14yr old springer diagnosed 3 weeks ago with cushings vetoryl 30mg no change then 40mg no change as yet very anxious mum
My dog is prescribed vitofyllin 50mg and dose of 1.5 tablets twice daily. She weighs 13.8kg. Is that correct?
Good morning! My 13 year old lab will start taking 120 mg of Vetoryl tomorrow. I'm leaving on vacation next Saturday for a week but I don't want to wait to start him on the medication. I'm concerned about the onset of side effects. Should I wait?
We're babysitting a dig who takes Vetoryl (10mg) and my dog has just eaten the food the other dog's pill is in. Do I need to worry?
doxie has cushings on vetoryl med, now, he is not drinking or eating much, he pee's/poops, has no energy, walks in circles, gets stuck, snaps at us(gentle) can I take him off the Vetoryl to see if he responds any differently he is on 15mg twice a day he weighs approx 8/9 lbs and is 11 YO
Our dogs has been diagnosed with cushions disease. She is 6.5 lbs, our vet wants to start her on 3 mg of trilostane twice daily. From the research I have seen this seems like a lot. What do you think?
The vet told me to give 1-3 100 mg trazondone to my 56 lb dog
So my elderly dog takes Theo 24 ER 200 mg once daily for chronic bronchitis (she’s a retired sled dog from Nome Alaska) is there any problem with giving her the “human” version vs the vet office version? The cost difference is $300.00 per month vs 16.00 per month
My 8 pound Chihuahua has presented all symptoms of Cushing syndrome (potbelly, weight gain, excessive thirst, hunger and peeing, panting, and now very weak legs) and I was considering buying Trilostane. But I don't know if I should give her the 3mg or 10mg dosage every morning like the treatment is prescribed. I'm also scared it might harm her somehow because I have never consulted a vet before. Can the medication do any harm somehow? Should I give her 10mg or 3mg?
