My pet has skin allergy..all tym he has itching problem..name of a medicated spray which prevent itching problem
Can you recommend a topical treatment for excessive itching for my black lab? We have no fleas, moisturizing shampoo from Petcoach store and a Vet visit that just saw dry skin. We have introduced omega 3 vitamins and reduced fat intake. Dramamine daily for 3 weeks now. Today flaky skin in sections and she was panting heavily at times for last 3 days. I rubbed in cortizone this am (on her flaky dandruff area) because she was going nuts. Any topical treatment options? Another Vet visit?
Lina has allergies and sees a dermatologist. She takes antihistamine, gets an RX bath one time a week, and I use chlorohexine wipes on sores. We will be doing allergy testing soon. She has been biting her foot and itching her face and now has some scabs on her face and her foot is raw/wet. We did cytopoint last week and she’s itching less but her paw is still really bad. Anything else we can do besides the wipes? If so I’ll see my regular vet until we see the dermatologist.
Product recommendation pls: naturvet Omega gold plus salmon oil chews vs VetriScience derma strength every day health chews; pls see attached pics. Looking for Omega 3 supplement (chews). Nikki eats core wellness grain free ocean flavor. Being using VetriScience, her itchiness from unknown allergy hasn't improved. On the other hand, I would like to know where/how I can get cytopoint, asked my vet but they don't have it. Thanks !

All of the sudden Zoey's skin seems to be itchy. I've checked her for fleas, bathed her with soothing shampoo, and used an anti itch spray on her. Nothing seems to work. So you have recommendations?
How can I help my dog with crazy itchy allergies? I have been giving him Benadryl 50mg (my vet who is closed on weekends suggested to do this). He's 50lbs. I also have been spraying his feet with GentaVed topical which I got from my vet as well. These are not really helping him that much! He does a weird hack when we walk so I'm fairly sure he's allergic to grass. I wash his feet after & spray with the topical. Should I cover his feet somehow? Any information/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks
One of our cats, 6 year old Molly gets seasonal allergies. Today she started itching and biting at herself. We see no flea she on her, but we found one flea while combing one of our other 4 cats. A vet appt. has been made for Monday morning, when we we take Molly and get Revolution drops for all. In the meantime, can I give Molly a tiny dose of children's Benadryl to relieve her itching? Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.
Riley has what seems like very dry skin lately, she itches and chews at her side/legs/ears a lot. We have tried giving her fish oil and coconut oil, as well as Benadryl, to help with the itching and re growing hair she chews out. are there any product recommendations to help with her itching, or growing fur back?
My dog has a rash on his left armpit and not sure if i should take him to the vet. Took him recently to a vet that treated him for allergies, we think an allergy to grass. Have 20 mg prednisone (5 left) and 4 mg chlorph..., an antihistamine (2 left)
