Wet the entire coat. Apply enough shampoo to produce a rich lather and allow shampoo to remain in contact with the skin for 5-10 minutes. Skin contact must be maintained for optimal relief. Rinse well with clean water. Repeat as directed by your veterinarian. Use 2-3 times per week until symptoms subside or as directed by your veterinarian.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into eyes flush thoroughly with water.

Does K9 advantix II prevent against mange? My vet prescribed antibactieral medicine but it hasn’t helped the past 4 days and he still occasionally itches. He has patches of hair missing under his legs and when I scratch them there’s a TON of dandruff.
Is there any over the counter shampoos you recommend to help soothe my pup that has demodectic mange? She was switched from trifexis to simparica and interceptor plus for treatment but I want a shampoo that will help soothe it during regular baths I give her.

Dr. Hinson, our I will try those. I’m not surprised it’s dandruff. He’s had the issue off and on his he was a pup and the vet is aware and they gave us a derm cap but looks like he needs a little extra tlc. Also, I was looking into this product, what do you think?

My cocker spaniel has awful issues with allergies. When she gets a flare up it starts in her ear and then becomes systemic through her sticking her paws in her ears and then licking her paws. We are now dealing with a yeast infection of her skin. Currently using malacetic shampoo to bathe her, but that doesn't seem to deter the growth. She has licked herself raw in areas. Last night we bought a hot spot foam and a collar to deter licking. Any suggestions on other treatments for the yeast?
Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.
Dr My pet dog Kali has developed what looks like an infection on her skin which is causing hair loss under her neck I. The region under her collar.It does seem itchy and red. I am using vetachlor-m is miconazole nitrate and chlorhexidine glycolate spray.The itching does seem to have reduced.My regular vet is on holidays and he had prescribed this a few months earlier for some hair loss and itch My doggy is s mixed breed.Could I continue with this spray?
