PETS: Rub coat in opposite direction & spray lightly (not soak) the body, belly, legs & tail. Do not spray in eyes, face or genitals. Test spray in small area. If pet is sensitive to product, bathe in mild, grease-cutting detergent & water to remove product. For dogs & cats 12 weeks of age or older. Apply once a week until infestation is eliminated. Then continue using as a repellant applying every two weeks. HOMES: Spray pet bedding, play areas, furniture & flooring from 8-12 inches away. Test a small area on surfaces prior to full application. Using as a preventative/repellent around the home. I thought I was buying a larger volume of the $11 spray I'd gotten first, which smells like peppermint. This larger bottle looks the same but is a different formula. Strong clove oil scent. I'm sure it will be a good repellent for around the house.

I have tried this product and other essential oil/botanical products to treat ticks on my dog. Not one of them has worked at all - Repeat, they have no effect on repelling, preventing, killing ticks. Shame on this company for its fraudulent claims.

I bought the vetality naturals flea and tick home and pet spray because it said naturals and I could use it in my home and on my pet. I have lightly sprayed where my cat usually sleeps and the clove odor is overwhelming. I know it is listed as eugenol on the label. I have done research and have found eugenol (clove) is toxic to cats. Now I don’t want to use it. Buyer beware and check all the ingredients of products you are buying for your cat and look them up before using. I wish I had before purchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We noticed our cats scratching a ton and then became aware that we had fleas. We treated the animals first and then started treating the house. I was oprehensive at first over the spray but decided to try it on our furniture and throughout the house. It's been about 4 weeks and so far the cats are holding strong with no new bitting episodes. I feel like this spray is to thank for that. I would definitely recommend it.
