How can I cure gingivitis in my cats
I want to ask about tropiclean fresh breath for cats. It is effective but it has carbomer. How safe will it be for my cat to be ingested daily? It says 98.96 % naturally derived. Has water, naturally derived alcohol, glycerin, mild cleanser, carbomer, zinc chloride
I brought my cat to the vet for vomiting. He was given DiaGel for small dogs (1-30 pounds). I got 0.2 mL into his mouth which he spit most of it out and then started drooling right after and didn’t stop for about 5 minutes. Can cats have Diagel for dogs? I was looking into some of the ingredients and became concerned when I read that some were toxic to cats
Is there a natural antibiotic for cats. She has a swollen gum rom a loose tooth
What is the best Hairball Gel/Paste brand for my cat?? There’s so many on the market and I’m not sure what one to buy to help my cat pass his stubborn hair ball successfully. He’s been gagging/yaking with nothing coming up in the last 48 hours.
My cat is a 8 year old American shorthair. She's healthy other than having developed a cough in the last month. We took her to the Vet. They prescribed "VETOQUINOL LAXATONE". I am to give her 1/2-1 teaspoon for 2-3 days, then 1/4-1/2 teaspoon 3-4 days a week. I am asking how to administrator it. She only eats dry food. She won't eat it by itself. Could I put it in a syringe? Or, do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
My cat has a wound about 1/2 inch in diameter. It doesn't look infected but she is licking it a lot. We have a cone we can put on her, but I need to know if we can use Viaderm-K.C. Cream on it which we have left over from our now deceased dog. Also can we use Germi-Stat Gel 4%? We will take her to the vet at any sign of infection, or if not healing.
Dr. Hinson, what about the brand Oxyfresh or brushless toothpaste? Either of those any good? Btw, I ordered some Allivet stuff you showed me it’s supposed to arrive today. Both my bubba and Mia have really bad dander. If I brush them, it comes out in handfuls.
Is petsmile a good and safe toothpaste to use on my cat? Their website states "Petsmile’s proprietary formula Calprox® is clinically proven to inhibit plaque and tartar buildup, while whitening teeth by gently dissolving the protein pellicle. The protein pellicle is the thin bio-film that forms on the surface of the teeth, to which plaque, bacteria, and stains adhere. Removing the pellicle leaves your pet’s teeth cleaner and whiter." Is this ingredient safe for cats?
My cat goes to the bowl to eat but has difficulty chewing dry food. The food falls out of her mouth. Vet said it is not a tooth problem. She can lick and swallow paw gel.
Dental oral care...which products to use? Was suggested OralVet, as its the one which digests in the dogs stomach is swallowed in big chunks. but not readily available in most stores. Is there a comparable product readily available, safe and easily digested?
My cats have trouble with hair balls, whats a good item to get for them. I've tried the cream you put on there paw
