I purchased this gate because I got a third dog that kept trying to get out the front door and I did not want to worry about her slipping by me. First thought is that this is heavy, well made gate with double hinges. This is high quality! I expected this to be a flimsy gate and its solid and stands on it own. This gate is two feet high. So don't expect it to keep a large dog or a jumping dog in its place. A pushy smart dog would be able to push the gate aside, which is why it comes with feet to give you more support. This works well for me, but I could see why it would not be the anser to all situations. The gate (without feet) stays up even with a 30 pound dog placing her top legs on the gate pleading for you not to leave. ;-) My gate was in the W shape. The expresso color is beautiful and I love how easy this is to move around to fit different door ways. There is a three feet tall option if you need a taller gate.

Purchased this from Petco and it arrived within a week. Love Petco.com shipping. Everything arrived in good working order. This was a lot heavier then I first thought which makes it very sturdy. It comes with feet for the gate so you can have the go straight across a large door or opening to keep dogs in place. Or you can accordian the gate (which does not require you to use the feet) to block a smaller area off. This gate is 2 feet high, so I would not recommed this for a dog who is large or jumps. My dogs would not jump over the gate so it is not a concern for me. My dogs are about 15 inches at the shoulder. I am using the gate infront of my front door so they do not run out or crowd me when I go to answer it. This expresso is a beautiful color and looks great. Please consider what you want to use this for and if your pets might jump this. This is not very tall which makes stepping over it easy (2 feet) but if you have a dog like tigger may not give you the results you are looking for. My dogs are 13 with arthritis (no jumping), 2 and 3. The 2 and 3 year olds could jump the gate in theory but that is not likely. With the gate being heavy I noticed they were not able to knock the gate down the way I set it up.

Beautiful and functional; I did a lot of research on which gate to purchase...took me months to make a decision. I needed something that I could easily move and manipulate as my elderly grandmother lives with me and she cannot step over a regular gate. Also, it needed to be quite tall, as one of my dogs is quite acrobatic and a high jumper. I didn’t want it to be gaudy and obnoxious in my house. These can fold up to be put to the side when not being used, yet are beautiful enough just to keep out. Shipping was fast!

We bought these gates to keep our dogs off our brand new couch and they are perfect. We wanted something that would be sturdy yet still look nice and these are great.

It came broken. And continues to break apart. Not worth the cost.
