Description

African Dwarf Frogs are fascinating, fully aquatic amphibians that bring unique charm and lively behavior to community aquariums. With proper care, they thrive and can live for many years as quirky, engaging tankmates. Ensure easy access to the water's surface for air-breathing but be sure to have a lid on the aquarium as they can jump out. They are a social animal, so keep in groups of at least two to three. Avoid sharp decor and strong filters to prevent injuries to this delicate species. Please only handle only when absolutely necessary, their skin is sensitive and absorbs oils/chemicals. Feed 3-4 times weekly; feed with tongs or a dish to ensure they eat (they're slow feeders compared to fish). Their preferred frozen or live bloodworms, brine shrimp, blackworms, daphnia.
