I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
Need gromming store for my cat
My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?
I have two cats, and i have two stories house and pretty wide, so i put 2 litter boxes in each floor (is it enough?), my oldest cat which is a mix maine coon breed started doing his business out of his litter box pretty often lately (but not that much after i put extra litter box in the 1st floor, i used to put only 1 litter box on the 1st floor), im thinking that he should be crated at night, but not with my other cat cus he's well behaved, is it okay? Will my oldest cat get mad/jealous?
We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. Hello! My cat is 2 and a half years old. We adopted him from a shelter and they did not have any info on his breed. We got him at 6 weeks old, and he is still growing. He's HUGE! Currently he's 25.3lbs and about 26 inches from nose to bottom not including tail. He's very high energy and quite slim. He's a gray and black Tabby. I'm wondering if he is going to continue to grow. He has grown significantly in the last 6 months. What kind of breed gets so big?
I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. Hi! We have this cat room (pictures attached) because they don't get along with Pharah. Is the cat room okay? We can't really afford any cat "furniture" right now or the doggy gates so we have a long chair in front. Dog doesn't go there and cats can still see the living room. Is the placement of food (on top of the table) and litter (under table next to each other) good? Should we add more things to the room? Also they only go out of the room when dog is away, like walks.
Have 2 male 4-month old brothers (orange tabby's. The area by their cat tree is always damp (believe they are peeing or spraying) yet they do use litter boxes. 1 litter box near the tree and 1 in our hall bath. Both cleaned regularly throughout the day. I'm baffled why the continued wetting the carpet. Also what is the best odor/stain eliminator product. We do have an 11 y.o. dog but they seem to get along okay. Thank you!
