My dog got really sick after eating just one. This was the only new thing we introduced to his diet. I've never seen my dog throw up so much. I'm not sure if he is allergic to any ingredients, but we never had that problem before with any of his other treats.

Buster loved these treats! They're quite hard which is good for him because he's a strong chewer! They have a nice minty smell and I'm hoping they'll help with his bad breath if I give them to him regularly. I'll update my review to 5 stars if they do. (These treats probably wouldn't be good for dogs that need softer foods unless they like to gum their treats).

Choking hazard?

    My medium-sized dog has a tendency to be a fast eater or to swallow small treats rather than chew. He does chew these, but I always monitor him while he's eating.

    According to the packaging, the product is made in the USA. Not just that the company is housed in the USA, it actually says the product is MADE in the USA both on the front and the back of the bags.

    Hi Wiscban! I am a representstive of NPIC, the makers of Twistix. Twistix are now being made in the USA. Look for the "Made in USA" logo on the front of the bags. Since it is a recent change, some stores may still be carrying China-made Twistix until they clear out their inventory.
