Every aquarium needs snails, so why not the Turbo Snail? They are a very important component when creating a balanced reef aquarium. Different snails do different jobs, and the Turbo's job is keeping the rock and glass surfaces clean. Be aware they are known as "bulldozers" because they tend to knock things over when they graze. The Turbo Snail prefers ample hiding places and large amounts of room to graze. It is recommended that you have one snail for every 5 gallons of tank water. Be advised these snails have a difficult time turning themselves over if they fall onto the back of their shells. It is a good idea to flip them over if you see them laying on their side to prevent them from dying.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email. We ship for arrival to the customer Tuesday through Friday and Saturday for an extra charge where available.

Is this snail is dead? If yes why?
I have 2 Mystery Snails and a betta in a 3.5G tank. Tank is filtered and has a heater. One snail has not grown at all while the other has nearly doubled in size. He is lathargic and I rarely see him eat his food or even come out of the shell. His shell has turned to a dull dark brown colour and looks to be cracking a little bit. Does this sound like a water issue? Does he sound sick? What can I do to help him. In the last picture, he is the smaller snail in the front.
is my turtle healthy ?? I see him different. From my other turtle my second turtle doesn’t look like my first different color and he has some pots and his shell just looks odd
My pet red eared slider Snappy is always sleeping and doesn't eat it's food pellets that I gave him. He runs towards the dry area when I put him in the water and he floats. I have seen some very small worms when I put him in the water.
My ~3yo male snow corn snake (about 4ft long and about 530 grams) has some bumps on his side. They don't appear to be painful. His behavior hasn't changed since he got them. My best guesses are either internal parasites or fat bumps despite him not seeming overweight.
My razorback musk turtle, got it for one and a half weeks or so, still small, has a yellowish white lump on its front leg. Like acne. What is this? Should I be worried? Thanks for your help!
How many snails can I have in a 55 gallon fish tank?
Hi, My fish has white spot which is expanding. It also has something around mouth. Spot looks white with small dots in it. I thought it is an ich outbreak. Currently tank is treated with Sera omnipur (30% of recommended dose). It is big pufferfish. thanks for your help Nikola
I have an Indian roofed turtle it has white patches on its top shell and also it has (fungus colour) green coloured patches on starting and ending of the top shell the pattern of on its bottom shell is also fading from a spot , maybe it is shedding its skin from there.I keep the turtle in a tub with normal water and and I keep it in my room I also give him 1 to 2 hours for basking in the sun . I live in Delhi where average temperature nowadays is 27-32C and it is monsoon here . Pls help.
Hello! my tropic tetra fish, lÃmon, has a cut out down the middle that I have not noticed before and her tail has a small cut too. she lives in a 10 gallon community tank with 3 more tropic tetras. none of her tank mates are aggressive. Does she have fin rot or some other disease? she gets regular water changes and has been acting completely normal. please send help!
