SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. For use on Dog: Stroke the dog's coat against the way it lays while lightly spraying entire coat including legs, tail, and stomach until the solution reaches the skin and it is damp, but not dripping. Do not spray in the face, eyes, or genitals. Repeat as necessary with 2-4 hours between applications, not to exceed twice in 24 hours. For use in Home: Spray a small amount on an inconspicuous area to test for colorfastness. Spray the surface uniformly with a light mist until moist, avoid soaking. Spray on dog bedding and other areas that may be infested. Repeat as needed. A flea infestation includes eggs, larvae and adult fleas. For best results, perform consistent treatments for several weeks of your home and dog to ensure eradication of fleas at every lifecycle stage. Avoid spraying bees and pollinating insects.

I don't know if it works or not. I got it to help with Ticks. I took my dog, Yorkie mix, on her first official hike. It was a dirt trail in a National Park that said it was pet friendly and stroller friendly, it wasn't really. It was not well maintained and had small sections where we had to walk through brush/weeds. On the ride back, immediately my niece spotted ticks on her. I took her home and spent a couple hours combing through her hair and trying to get every single one removed, must have been about 3 dozen ticks in total that got on her, only a couple were attached thankfully, all others were held off by her curly/coarse hair. I isolated her in a room until I could get products and a shaver. I bought this with the extra strength shampoo of the same brand. I have not seen a tick since I did the first day look over, so I do not know if this works, it's only been 2 days. But I have not seen any at all, even while and after shaving/bathing/shampooing. My dog didn't care much for the smell, she is frankly over this whole thing and runs when I come near now.... I had to chase her down to spray her with it. My son also really hated the smell and did not want the dog near him because of it and had to open my windows in 85-degree weather. You do not need a lot of spray, as it dampens the hair/bedding pretty easily, but it gets overpowering quickly.

No, I do not recommend this product.

No chemical smell, pleasant orange scent. Big plus, you can use it on your dog and bedding. Works very well.
