Simply cut the tip off the applicator to apply 2 drops of gel to each side of your dog's mouth daily. After application, your dog will begin licking their lips, allowing the gel to coat all surfaces of their teeth and gums. For maximum effect, withhold food and water for 30 minutes before and after application. Speed up the removal of plaque and tartar by brushing with a Fresh Breath toothbrush and gel.

This really works! The package says it takes a month to see results, I will say it took about two months to really SEE and it’s been a little over three months since I started using the gel. I’ve used it daily on my dog as the directions state. My dog is really sweet and I’m lucky I can easily get this on her teeth (no brushing needed!)— I adopted a 7 year old with teeth that had never been brushed. I wanted to try this gel first, because dog’s groomer recommended it. I’m glad I did because I think I have saved myself an expensive cleaning for the time being. Her gums are much less inflamed and the plaque has begun to dissolve off her teeth. It really neutralized her breath, too. I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this has worked. Pictures included. The first picture is from December 22, 2023, and the second picture is from April 6, 2024.

Bought this a couple weeks back...so far seems to be working...my Peke is no a big fan of theminty freshness...LOL, but she is dealing with it...so will continue until a point of using the brush on her teeth.... Thank you for a nice product..! ! !

The product definitely improves your dog's breath. I have always used the mint version but I understand there are others. My little guy, who is older, doesn't care for the gel but I can squirt in a couple of drops on each side. The girl is younger and has had it since we adopted her. She loves the gel! I think it has slowed the accumulation of tartar on both dogs, but didn't do a clinical study. BTW, I both brush and use the TropiClean, trying to avoid those dental cleanings at the vet.

Can’t say if it works or not. For a pup poodle who eats and chews on everything, this is the only thing she absolutely won’t allow. I got it in her mouth once and she hated it. She can smell it coming and I can’t get it in her mouth, let alone inside the lips, even when bribed with a treat. Not going to torment her daily for this one. Do to a family allergy we can’t do the PB one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can u brush your dogs teeth with this product if you wanted to or is it not good to use this product with a toothbrush?

    I use it with a fingertip brush and a longer handled dog toothbrush for my dog. Never had a problem and it works great.

    I came back to fix my review about this gel. it did work for my doggies plaque but she hated it so I tried it on myself. yuk!!! its absolutely horrible, taste like alcohol or some toxic sort of thing. so I stopped applying this gel. i still have two bottles but probably will throw in to the trash. I think its ok to use once in a while or for short period of time but I would not recommend it because it has too much alcohol in it and my doggie feels sick after too much of these. ( she vomits).

How do you apply it

    Remember, there are directions on the box/packaging. One drop per each side of your animals mouth. Do this daily for the first 30 days. Restrict food for 30 minutes before and after you use the TropiClean product. Your animals may "foam at the mouth" but this is normal as the product is mixing with their saliva.

When to give it to pet?

    You want to apply this product AFTER the dog has eaten and drank water so the product will stay on the teeth for a good amount of time in order to work. In the evening, after all the eating is done for the day...this makes sense. I clean my dog's teeth at about 9 or 10 at night, then she goes to sleep, product does it's work ( I hope).
