Ingredients
Water, Naturally Derived Alcohol, Glycerin, Carbomer, Spearmint, Mild Cleanser, Zinc Chloride (.01g/10ml), Green Tea Leaf Extract.
Simply cut the tip off the applicator to apply 2 drops of gel to each side of your dog's mouth daily. After application, your dog will begin licking their lips, allowing the gel to coat all surfaces of their teeth and gums. For maximum effect, withhold food and water for 30 minutes before and after application. Speed up the removal of plaque and tartar by brushing with a Fresh Breath toothbrush and gel.

Can u brush your dogs teeth with this product if you wanted to or is it not good to use this product with a toothbrush?
- I use it with a fingertip brush and a longer handled dog toothbrush for my dog. Never had a problem and it works great.

I have some Tropiclean Fresh Breath Dog Teeth Gel left over from a few years ago. Does it expire? Is it safe to use if it's approximately 3 years ol
- I came back to fix my review about this gel. it did work for my doggies plaque but she hated it so I tried it on myself. yuk!!! its absolutely horrible, taste like alcohol or some toxic sort of thing. so I stopped applying this gel. i still have two bottles but probably will throw in to the trash. I think its ok to use once in a while or for short period of time but I would not recommend it because it has too much alcohol in it and my doggie feels sick after too much of these. ( she vomits).

What is "natural cleanser" in the ingredients list? That is a little vague.
- No 1., You can call the company and ask. No 2., Read the ingredients, get back on the computer and look up each one and it's purpose.

How do you apply it
- Remember, there are directions on the box/packaging. One drop per each side of your animals mouth. Do this daily for the first 30 days. Restrict food for 30 minutes before and after you use the TropiClean product. Your animals may "foam at the mouth" but this is normal as the product is mixing with their saliva.

When to give it to pet?
- You want to apply this product AFTER the dog has eaten and drank water so the product will stay on the teeth for a good amount of time in order to work. In the evening, after all the eating is done for the day...this makes sense. I clean my dog's teeth at about 9 or 10 at night, then she goes to sleep, product does it's work ( I hope).

How do you get the gel to come out of the bottle. Punch a hole in it or cut it off with scissors? Still trying to get the liquid to come out.
