Ingredients

Made my cat sick
Made my cat extremely sick after a few weeks of use. He started to vomit (which at first I didn’t connect to the Oral Gel because sometimes cats just do that including mine on rare occasions.) However one night after I gave him the gel he threw up again, then proceeded to have diarrhea (he was meowing in pain while he was using the litter) then threw up for a second time that day right after. The only change in his routine was I had been giving him this Gel. Do NOT give this to your cats. Luckily he is okay now and back to normal once I stopped giving him this crap!

Helps my kitty
I see some posters with issues putting in cats mouth. Take top off & dip a clean Qtip into the gel and swipe it in their mouth that way...mine will not allow me to do it any other way

My cat is repulsed by the smell
This smells fairly strongly of mint-tea (more mint than green tea) and my cat is repulsed by the smell. There's no way that he'll stand for my brushing his teeth with this.

TropiClean Fresh Breath Clean Teeth Gel for Cats
I use it a couple of times a week on my uncooperative Persian mix (while using a water additive as well). I place some on the top of her front paws and then around her mouth. She licks both areas clean. Helps considerably with bad breath.

Just bought this product and wanted to double check- Is there supposed to be a seal on the inside of the bottle? Like when you unscrew the entire cap. Mine does not have one and I just wanted to make sure I don’t have a product that has been tampered with
- TropiClean has just recently started a process to provide seals to this product, but it is entirely possible that you have received a product that was produced before this change had taken place.

If this cleans plaque and tartar without brushing, and if this is safe for cat, can I use this for myself (human,140lb)? If it would not safe for human, I would like to know the reason.

Can I use these products on dogs too?
- Click Dog on the top blue ribbon on the home page & then put the product in the search engine. I know with the gel it is the same product for cat & dog. I don't know about the water additive. Perhaps the amount you put in the water would differ between a cat & dog.

Is this product safe to use on kittens?
- Thank you for your inquiry. The product is safe to use on kittens, recommended older than 12 weeks. Typically, however, kittens and even puppies do not require such a product in their earliest weeks of life but as they reach the age of losing teeth and getting their permanent teeth, this is when the product is most helpful through their adult and senior years.
