Use saltwater prepared with Tropic Marin Classic for regular water changes in your saltwater aquarium, to start a new aquarium and to re-equilibrate the pH of the tank. To achieve a salinity level of 32-35%. (psu), dissolve 35 ml (approx. 37-40 g / 1.3-1.4 oz.) of the sea salt for every liter or 0.5 cup (approx. 140-150 g) for every US-gallon of water in a container. The resulting seawater is ready for use as soon as the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The specific gravity of the sea salt solution should be 1.025 to 1.027 at a temperature of 25 degreeC / 77 degreeF. A weekly, partial water change, replacing 10% of the total water volume with saltwater prepared with Tropic Marin Classic, will help to maintain the water quality that your livestock needs for good health.
