Tropic Marin Phos-Feed is formulated to mimic the natural phosphate supply mechanisms observed in the wild coral reef environment. Unlike traditional phosphate supplements that can lead to continuously increased phosphate concentration in the water column, Phos-Feed provides phosphate in a targeted manner.

Tropic Marin Phos-Feed can be added at any time of the day or night. Since the application clouds the water somewhat and to take advantage of the corals' nocturnal polyp opening, Tropic Marin Phos-Feed should preferably be applied around the time the lights are turned off. The temporary turbidity that forms is normal. The water is particularly clear after the turbidity. Half fill a container with approximately 200ml of reverse osmosis water and add the calculated amount of Tropic Marin Phos-Feed. Mix powder and water well by stirring. Pour the suspension into the current of the aquarium and rinse the cup with aquarium water. Dosage: Start with a daily dosage of 1 ml Tropic Marin Phos-Feed per 200 l (50 US-gal) aquarium water. If after four weeks a phosphate concentration between 0.05 ppm and 0.15 ppm is not reached in the aquarium, double the dosage to 2 ml (larger measuring spoon) per 200 l (50 US-gal). We recommend not to exceed a maximum dosage of 4 ml per 200 l (50 US-gal).
Not suitable for human consumption.

Hello. My cat is at about stage 3 renal failure. Her phosphorus level is quite high. Have repeatedly tried renal foods but very difficult to get her to eat it. I have read that aluminium hydroxide, Alu-Cap brand name, can be quite effective at lowering phosphorus levels. Do you have any first hand knowledge of this please? Thanks very much for your time.
I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
Does the Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Cat Paw Gel work to maintain urinary pH for struvite stone dissolution and prevention? My cat has a past history of struvite stones (8 years ago) and doesn't eat the urinary SO diet (wet or dry) She is a picky eater and will only eat the blue wilderness salmon high protein wet food when I gave her options. But, I read online that some pet owners have used regular high protein wet food in addition to this nutri-vet or other dl-methionine supplements.
Hi! I am trying to make the best decisions for Rocco. He gets glucosamine/chondroitin for his joints, a powdered probiotic for intestinal health, and omega 3 fish oil capsules (sardines and anchovies). I'm curious of your thoughts? Is the probiotic useless if its powdered (not live)? Is there a risk of heavy metals in the fish oils? Also, we feed him grain free because of his seasonal allergies (per our vet). Is this safe? News reports say risk of DCM? Grains bad for allergies? Thank you
