Measure the phosphate concentration in your aquarium and then calculate the required amount of Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Rapid. The addition of 1 ml per 100 l / 26 US-gal. of aquarium water reduces the phosphate concentration by up to 0.1 mg/l, which corresponds to the recommended maximum daily dosage. Add Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Rapid slowly into an area with strong flow. Once the phosphate level has reached the target range of 0.2-0.4 mg/l (ppm) it is advisable to continue treating the water with the adsorber granules Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Longlife in order to reduce the phosphate concentration further, keep it stable and maintain it at a permanently low level.
If the product gets into your eye please rinse consistently with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if wearing and continue rinsing.

Hello. My cat is at about stage 3 renal failure. Her phosphorus level is quite high. Have repeatedly tried renal foods but very difficult to get her to eat it. I have read that aluminium hydroxide, Alu-Cap brand name, can be quite effective at lowering phosphorus levels. Do you have any first hand knowledge of this please? Thanks very much for your time.

I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
