Overall, this is a reasonable product. The instructions for assembly are not clear and take a little common sense to figure out mostly on your own. The platforms are somewhat small for adult cats to lounge on. It works for me as I am using it as an inside living area for my elderly cat with incontinence issues. If I had to suggest improvements, I would suggest a slightly taller enclosure with larger platforms on each end.

We bought the catio a few weeks ago. My husband built a floor for it before we brought the cats out. The concept is great because the cats love it. But as other reviewers mentioned there are few flaws. The pine wood is not very stable. I bumped into it by accident and cracked one of the legs. That was on day 2. The locks are awful. I would never trust my cats in the catio with the locks it came with. We replaced both of them and added a third for safety measures. The directions were really lacking. Someone should definitely re write them with better description, pictures etc. The wiring seems stable thank God. Between the roof and the floor there is now enough weight to sustain a decent amount of wind. Also, the shelves are very small. The $400.00 price tag is VERY INFLATED. I would never pay that much for what you get. We found it on same for half that. The cats do love it hence the 3 rating despite some flaws quality of the product.

This is great! So easy to put together once you figure out what panels go where, the instructions are just pictures and not entirely helpful, but overall it was fairly self explanatory (took my husband and I about 20 minutes with a screw gun). The cats love it! Now they can be outside with us safely, getting fresh air, sunshine, and nibbling some grass. Fits our two older cats perfectly.

While it’s easy to put together, you have to make sure the sides are the right way. There is wood bumps on one edge and it’s not clear if they should be on the top or bottom. Love the size. I have mine up to my doggie door. A panel where it could attach to a separate pet door would be helpful. The shelves are small and my cats are small but they won’t go on them. Maybe only 2 and a bit larger would be helpful. I still feel it was a good purchase and the cats love being outside, even in the rain.

The construction wood is not very strong and the shelves are small....more the size for a kitten rather than an adult cat. It’s good for an indoor cat to get outside for fresh air and sunshine.

I bought this catio so that my two indoor kitties could have a safe, quiet place to enjoy the sunshine and fresh outdoors, and maybe to also get a little bird watching in. It’s a great size for a smaller patio and provides enough room for two adult cats to co-exist in for a couple of hours. It was easy to put together and looks great!
