new 2 yr old cat Had for 4 days, first in bathroom with all toys and trinkets. She got out peed on rug in hallway, ran under bed in bedroom so I moved stuff there and she was bet. Got fellway. Took to spca vet who diagnosed cat flu. Two problems 1. Wont come out from under bed since disaster try to give liquid med this am. Before this, she had stopped hiding and would hang with me in hallway for a bit before going back and laying on bed. 2. She is not peeing or poo in litter, two boxes,
So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.
My cat is super active at night for a few days, she keeps scratching the sofa and running around. She is spayed. We have two scratching cardboards and a cat tree for her. We just moved to a new apartment for 3 weeks and she seems accommodating quite well for the new environment.
17 yo Himalayan appears to walk into furniture and walks in circles at times. Urinating. No diarrhea. Saw Vet one month ago, vaccinated, and groomed. No issues noted at the time. Indoor only. No other cats.
On average, how long does a outdoor cat live? My cat is amost 11.
I adopted my cat about 2 months ago and she can be playful but tends to hide under the bed a lot. Also she pees on the sofa some times. How can I get her to come out from under my bed and to stop peeing on the couch ?
Hello, I have a cat (Elliot) about a year and some months old , I got him from Petco actually. He has destroyed all my furniture and keeps on breaking more with his nails I do have about 3 scratch poles for him yet, he keeps on scratching everything; even after I cut his nails, he keeps on making things worst. Would it be better to remove his nails? Cause other wise I will have to give him back to a shelter, which I really wouldn't want to do. Thanks in advance Gus N.
Hi, my 9 yo tuxedo cat has had odd behavior the last wk & her ears look like they’re being eaten alive.I have pictures of the progression of her ears, today one of the ears came clean off! It started off with her not eating or drinking water for almost 2 days, then I noticed the edges and tips of her ears were scabby/bloodied. Her left ear had hair missing and on the bald spot the skin seemed almost cooked, like jerky. She started eating the at the end of day 2 but ears look awful.
i have a black and tan bluetick coonhound will it hurt her if she sleeps under my bed covers all night long
I have adopted a new kitten yesterday I brought him home at 6 pm since than she is hiding under the bed And suddenly at 11 pm she started meowing and is meowing regularly . its 9 am in the morning now but she is still hiding herself under the bed. Also she hadn't consumed milk water or food a little bit . Please help me out !!
$800 and five vets later they assume that my four year old spayed, indoor only cat may have fractured a bone or pulled a muscle. Nothing shows on the x rays, which are fine, her blood work is normal. She’s on a steroid which seems to help but she’s still quite lethargic and meows when you touch near her chest. She eats, drinks and uses the box fine. When I pick her up she cries, and when laying down she sometimes trembles (her front legs/shoulders). Opinions welcome.
why is my cat hiding in that closet she is doing her normal routine
