I don't get how this works. Can someone explain?
- Hello, this dog activity game includes 6 treat-hiding compartments and a large slow feeder bowl. Add treats or kibble to the side compartments and center slow feeder. Then your pet can slide the domes with their nose or paws to access the food. Please consult the instruction booklet that comes with the item for more tips and tricks. Thank you for your question.

Is this good for larger dogs? Can their paws "work" it? my dog "chews on stuff - is this tough?

I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. I just bought the puzzle bowl but she can only reach one morsel at a time using her tongue as she is a big dog. This doesn't seem right either but I don't know. It definitely slowed her eating. I bought a slow feeder from the pet store to slow down my cat's eating but she is barely eating and she will walk away from the dish. Our 7 month old puppy used to scarf her meals so fast, so we got a slow-feeder bowl. The last week or so, she has turned into a grazer and only eats a bite, then comes to find us in the house, hangs out a bit, goes for another bite, comes to find us, etc. We've tried standing in the kitchen while she eats, but it doesn't seem to help. Hi , trixie has eaten Rx Royal Canin selected protein rabbit and pea canned and dry food for many years due to irritable bowel. Would she able to eat a freeze dried rabbit treat i found at a pet store? I thought since it’s the same protein , rabbit, it would be ok. Thanks!
Trixie has irritable bowel & eats Royal Canin Selected protein rabbit pea for 5+ years.shes not been eating as much.vet did bloodwork & xrays& found nothing wrong. Ive tried the duck flavor& she still was not interested. My vet has prescribed a short trial prednisolone b/c when she was first diagnosed with irritable bowel 5 yrs ago pred was prescribed for decreased appetite & for a short while she had hi levels of Calcium which normalized after pred. Any thoughts on this drug for trixie’s issue?
