I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
How can I get my Trixie to like Blackie?
I am a dog home boarder and have a therapy dog staying but I cannot get her to join in games do therapy dogs play differently any game suggestions - 9 yr old kcspaniel thank you
Piper just got home from being spayed, and all she wants to do is play. What is something we can do for her to have fun but is still considered 'limited activity'?
Our Cane Corso is lacking mental stimulation. What are some examples of things we can do to mentally stimulate her? Our trainer suggested adopting a second dog, but we can't afford it.
Hi.first time on this site. I hv7 month.female American pit bull terrier. Smart active however she bites after about 5-10 min of play.hands kegs pant legs cuffs..She is wagging her tail and seems to think it is play. I've tryed toys.i don't hit. Hello, my dog is a 2 year old German Shepherd, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chow Chow mix, (that's a mouthful!) and he destroys every toy we give him! He has never chewed on furniture, (even as a puppy) or clothes or shoes. But we've purchased every toy under the sun and he still rips them to shreds! We've gotten indestructible toys like, fire hose toys, Kong toys, etc. We gave him a thigh bone from a cow and he broke it with one chomp. Is there something better? Or do we just replace toys? Thank you.
Trixie (German shepherd female puppy) 40 days old and she having a flea. What should i do.? And also she's biting a lot. Any suggestion?
My sister, parents, and I are all very busy people, and while we manage to take Conan for a walk most days, and there’s almost always someone home with him, I feel like he’s not getting enough mental and physical stimulation. He’s still young and very energetic. He’s not super interested in kibble-dispensers, unless there are HIGH quality treats, because he’s never been very food-motivated. Do you have any recommendations for energy-burning games or brain stimulating toys for him?
My dog Abby is quite playful, what toys would be the best for dogs like her? what toys do dogs prefer and like to play with?
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
Our 11 month old puppy is high energy and loves to play fetch. During a game of fetch he will get a scent and will run all over the yard with his nose to the ground, snorting and tail wagging. My question is there agility type of games for dogs who love to trace a scent?
