I’m so disappointed in my TRIXIE rabbit hutch. I’ve only had it since 2022, and the bottom litter tray has broken through twice. Last year they sent me a new tray, but it has broken through again, and they refuse to send another. It is really upsetting to have to purchase an entirely new hutch when just one piece keeps breaking from poor quality. The bottom of the cage should certainly be able to withstand the weight of a rabbit!

I bought this to replace another hutch that had lasted a few years. There are a few good features - I like the access inside, the ability to lock the little door between the upper and lower parts. That said, it was truly a piece of crap. The hardware busted and the latches were insufficient, so we had to add extra latches. Then, the buns easily chewed through the door, so we added plywood. Then they chewed through the side. We're in the market for yet another hutch, and this one only lasted 8 months.

I bought this and once I received it it was broken. I didn’t unpack the whole thing because the first two pieces were badly broken. Beyond repair. Very cheaply made. And then when I went to return it they said they had never see it before. I got my full return but it was just weird.

Pieces broken, missing pieces, measurements for some of the boards are so off that the trays won’t slip in or out and the locks will not lock! I would not recommend this cage to anyone.

We were very disappointed. The way this hutch is set up the rabbits remain sitting in their feces. There is no tray for the feces to drop through.

I ordered this hutch online because it wasn't available locally and I put it together myself. It was fairly easy to assemble once I laid everything out. I currently only have 1 rabbit but I wanted to make sure she had more than enough room as well as have additional room if I decide to get her a friend later. This hutch is big enough for multiple pets and I just LOVE that you can lower the door over the ramp and convert the hutch into two separate cages. There are 2 wooden doors on the front that open and 2 doors with windows on the front that open as well as a window on the left, lower level (doesn't open) (no windows on the right side). The trays do slide completely out (the actual plastic trays are glued to the drawers). One thing that I was not aware of when I bought the hutch that you might like to know is......you can't put the bottom partition (rodent home) in when the ramp is in place. In other words, the bottom level does not have the shelter house unless you take the ramp out and close the ramp door and use it as two separate cages. Not a big deal, but it's nice to know. You can always just add a free-standing shelter or make one out of a cardboard box for the lower level if you want to leave the ramp in place. Also, the ramp is covered with shingles (just fyi). If you want the hutch to last for years, I would definitely recommend placing it under a covered porch. All-in-all, I love this hutch and would highly recommend it. It's not too big and not too small and has all of the features that I was looking for in a hutch. A+

This rabbit hutch is terrible. First off, when I received it in the mail, the roof had a huge crack down the middle, so I had to ask for another one. Also, when I got the package in the mail, all of the writing and the directions are in German. The english directions are so small you can barely see that they are there. It is also made out of such cheap wood, that I am sure it won't last long. My rabbits have already almost chewed through the door. So, because of that, I had to buy heavy plastic to cover the wood. Which was ridiculous. Also, this hutch is supposed to be able to split into two hutches. That also does NOT work. I had it built so I could have my male bunny on top and my female bunny on the bottom. Well, the plastic drawer is not glued down so my female bunny ended up pushing it over just enough that there was a little hole that she jumped through, so my male and female bunny ended up being in the same section of the cage and now I have to worry about my female bunny being pregnant. This hutch is terrible and I don't suggest anyone buy it.

Part of the assembly instructions is unclear, but this hutch is not difficult to build. Look closely or feel for the predrilled holes. The picture doesn't show that one side panel is half grid/half solid. Don't know why? I use mine for two pairs of dwarf rabbits of which neither pair gets along with the other, so the two-story hutch works well. The little privacy room will be used how your bunnies decide. One pair uses it for privacy; the other pair uses it for toileting. The small, triangular, corner litter boxes work well and leave space for cuddling, gooming, and movement. No more stooping to reach into those "my pet's first home" cages. Use a swivel chair plastic floor protector under it for spills and easy clean up. Make sure bunnies have those wooden chews with inside treats to keep them from biting the wooden hutch.
