I set this up under a covered porch and it did not even last 2 moths! I would not recommend! I set this up for my rabbit in August and in September he kept escaping. I could not figure out where he was getting out so I pulled it out and the back was falling apart due to poor craftsmanship. Even though there is a one year warranty Trixie does not seem to do refunds and Petco only has a 30 day policy!

Arrived in 3 large boxes, all damaged as was the parts inside. Have a friend that is handy and fixed/replaced the broken portions. Certainly is not worth anywhere near the price they are asking and can't imagine anyone ever paying what they show as the original price. Couldn't trust the latch mechanisms and had to replace them.

We bought this hutch for one rabbit. It's cute and provides lots of room. The boxes and hutch pieces arrived damaged and after several attempts we got replacement parts for the damaged pieces...they were damaged too, but we made them work. The instructions aren't great, but my 11 year old daughter and I were able to put this together without any help from dad. We added additional locks/hasps on the doors and attic space as the barrel bolt locks provided open pretty easily and we didn't want to underestimate the raccoons/foxes in our area, or the three cats or german shepherd that we have! Like the previous review...we also had trouble with the back wall coming apart when we moved the hutch, so we had to take the roof back off in order to get the wall back together. We then added additional supports to keep this from happening again. I am even considering adding some kind of handles because it is pretty heavy and difficult to move without lifting it by holding on to the edges of the roof....which is going to end up causing problems if we move it a couple of times. In hindsight, I would have chosen a different hutch because if it is raining and the ground is all wet (or covered with snow) the rabbit has no place to come outside his box without being on the wet ground. Therefore, we are now working on adding a shelf of some type in the lower part of the hutch so the rabbit can have some outdoor time...rain or shine. Overall, it's a nice and roomy hutch as long as you don't mind making a few improvements to meet your needs.

I bought this bunny hutch for two bunnies. The size is perfect. My 6 y.o. son can sit in it and play with them. However, the instruction were difficult to understand. The construction materials and design were cheap for the money paid. I moved the bunny hutch 5ft. and the back wall pieces detached from each other. I had to rebuild it again and add extra hardware and supports. Very disapointing!!
