Is it stable (does not collapse or slide around) when an adult cat uses the scratching post feature?
- Quite stable. It doesn't try to collapse at all when our big cat is scratching. We have it on carpet and it doesn't slide. If it were on wood or tile floor it might slide. Our first one lasted through 2 cats and a couple years with great use. This is our 2nd one.

How sturdy is it? How large of a cat would fit on it?

Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. We found out our 6 month old ragdoll was peeing in the bathtub which is less than 1 metre from the litter box. We then covered the bathtub with a glass table top and he seems to still jump up and pee on top when we're not around. He drinks plenty of water and eats fine and is on a very good diet. Could this just be his habit or are there any recommendations as we were thinking of getting him a second litter box and putting it on top of the bath. Any suggestions or help please. Thankyou.
