The TRIXIE Mica Scratching Post provides endless opportunities for your kittens to play, explore, scratch, or just relax. Kittens can sharpen their claws on any one of the two scratching areas instead of on your furniture or carpet, teaching them healthy scratching habits. The scratching post is covered in durable sisal. If a nap or place to hide is in order, your kitten can crawl up on the padded top platform. Feeling a little spunky? Jump, climb or perch atop of the plush-covered platform, with supportive backrest, and lie in wait for unsuspecting prey or simply enjoy the view. We've even included a suspended plush pom-pom toy for added appeal. The subtle earth tones of the sisal and plush fabric also make this piece of cat furniture easy to integrate into your home decor.

My cat is super active at night for a few days, she keeps scratching the sofa and running around. She is spayed. We have two scratching cardboards and a cat tree for her. We just moved to a new apartment for 3 weeks and she seems accommodating quite well for the new environment.
My cats chew and shred paper and cardboard incessantly. Help!
My cats no matter what age, young , old seem to get thickening of their nails. I trim them every month or so depending on growth. I have several babies and it seems to happen to many of them. It sometimes is hard to trim because nails are tough. They do have and use several scratching posts including my doors
My indoor cat is 18 years old. She still eats and uses her litter box, but she has started meowing incessantly all night long and even during the day. No matter what I try, she will not stop. We had moved in October, so I figured it was an adjustment period. But it has gotten increasingly worse. Her hair is a bit matted because she cannot clean herself as well, but I do brush her and use cat wipes to clean her. How can I get it to stop? It's affecting sleep for myself and my kids.
My cat has developed a way of playing with us by biting and scratching (climbing our legs, back...) us. She used to do it in a way that didnt hurt but niw her teeth are bigger and it really hurts. How do we stop this behaviour? Is it normal? She has no other kittens to play with, but has many toys and a scratching post.
My female spayed cat is 18 yrs old. She I is loosing hair on her tail back legs and back. She used to weigh 8 lbs but now is 4 lbs.
I am at my breaking point I wish there was a class to take misbehaving young cats . I in the beginning was the nice cat parent but now I’m changing my tone of voice and she still won’t listen to me she now scratches our rug and eats stuff off it like string and when I say no she still does it so I had to spray her with water that didn’t work long so next step was to scruff her that worked for minute but she disobeyed me anyway I don’t know how people truly discipline there cats . Any suggestions
I rescued my cat from outside about a month or two ago. We switched her to dry food recently and we also switched her litter. When we first got her she had a bald patch on her head and neck. Her bald spot filled in a while ago but she's been constantly licking and scratching herself to the point where she has another semi bald spot. We recently went on a weekend trip and we had to leave her home where she was basically alone, I'm thinking it could be an anxiety thing or allergies.
Hi, took a stray in as she had a gash on her leg (this is a stray cat that I often feed and is familiar with me). She needed stitches and they told me to keep her inside for seven days. She seems very sad, keeps hiding under the couch and today she began scratching. What can I do?
Seems the be overly aggressive lately. Scratching, biting, climbing up my legs, fake crying and attacking when I investigate the crying, sulking away even when offered treats, bouncing off the walls. She has a cat tree, tons of various toys, and feed well, but still destroying my apt while I'm at work. Agression seems excessive from normal 3 month behavior from what I read.
I noticed my indoor cat scratching around her neck about a month ago. All I had was Advantage2 drops that were expired! Well I’ve noticed that she continues to scratch and with a missing hind leg she can’t scratch the area! Would it be too soon to apply some fresh drops to her now! I don’t want to harm her!
My cat has balding on her front legs and belly and one paw is puffy, cracked and tender. She sometimes limps if she jumps down on that paw. What could this be? I see no sign of rash or fleas. She is an indoor cat but two weeks ago snuck outside but stayed on the lawn. No change in diet, I only use pet friendly cleaning products. Three months ago I gradually changed her brand of litter from tsc non scented to carbon clay litter, unscented. Any insight appreciated.
