Our 8 week old kitten Trixie, has been crying most of the morning. She is calm for a few minutes then she will get down on the floor and go to the litter box and start to cry and either barley go or not at all. I found mucus on her butt and private. She is the runt of the litter.

Hello! I took my kitty Mia to the vet about a week ago and she is pregnant! She is also in her 3rd trimester. I think she has been nesting as well, but in my closet. My large dog attacked my small cat. I do not believe he actuallly hurt her, but she won't come out from under the tub-it's and old fashioned one with feet, against the wall. We have left her food, water, litter box and blankie in there, but she won't come out and growls and hisses when we get near. It's been about 20 hours. What do I do!?
We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. So my fiancé and I have recently moved in to a two bedroom house with an upstairs, main floor and basement. I was hoping our two girls would get along now that there is a bigger space for them but Lulu has found her way to the basement one day and she just stays down there all the time. Is this okay? After unsuccessful attempts to find the owner of a stray, emaciated tortie, we decided to adopt her. We fed her for a week before a vet visit last Wed. to spay, etc. She'd had dry nipples as if she'd dropped a litter some time ago, but the teats filled out as we fed her. Got her home yesterday, kept her inside per vet's direction, and "walked" her in lieu of litter box she refused to use. We heard kitten mews under porch steps, and she darted under. Her incision is nicely closed -- any guidance?
