I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
Will my 6 month old kitten grow out of playing in her litter box? It's so unsanitary. We got her a tower recently that she doesn't even touch, plus lots of boxes for her to play in. How can I get her to use cat tower more? Feliway doesn't seem to work.

Hi there! I just brought home a 12 week old kitten and she has adjusted well in just 1 week. She currently sleeps in our bed with us. Due to some mild allergies, we are thinking of sectioning off a space for her in the entrance and hallway at night for her to sleep in. Our apartment doesn’t have any doors and our living room and bedroom is one room (studio apartment). She would have access to the room during the day up until bed time. Is this ok to do? Or would it cause any trauma/issues?
Hi! We have this cat room (pictures attached) because they don't get along with Pharah. Is the cat room okay? We can't really afford any cat "furniture" right now or the doggy gates so we have a long chair in front. Dog doesn't go there and cats can still see the living room. Is the placement of food (on top of the table) and litter (under table next to each other) good? Should we add more things to the room? Also they only go out of the room when dog is away, like walks.
I am getting a hedgehog and have been told to get a small enclosed space to put in the cage for sleeping. Recommendations???
My neighbour's cat has been hiding under my bathtub for 26 hours now. At 2am she came out and I thought it'd be nice not to crate her until time tp go home at 7am. When the time came she scratched my husband badly and ran back under the bathtub. This is disturbing my kitten and I. I'm desperate to get her out.
Hello! I took my kitty Mia to the vet about a week ago and she is pregnant! She is also in her 3rd trimester. I think she has been nesting as well, but in my closet. I don’t want her to have her kittens in my closet, I have tried to make beds with food and water and a litter tray by here, but she just won’t take to it. Any suggestions? Thanks! -Liz
We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. So my fiancé and I have recently moved in to a two bedroom house with an upstairs, main floor and basement. I was hoping our two girls would get along now that there is a bigger space for them but Lulu has found her way to the basement one day and she just stays down there all the time. Is this okay? We usually have to keep the door closed but there is furniture and blankets food and litter box for her I just want to make sure we aren’t neglecting her so she can have her space from Jax?
