Highly recommend
Very sturdy and able to configure to fit various openings. Kept my 3 dogs contained (boxer/shepard, Australian Shepard mix and a Yorkie ). Easy to set up. I did not need any tools with the four panel

The gate looks great. We bought brackets to mount it to the wall. I just wish the gate latch was a little more heavy duty. If the gate is at the wrong angle, the dogs can push it open.

Great to block stairs
I'm using this to block off our stairs to prevent our new puppy from going downstairs without supervision. This works perfectly and looks much nicer than the plastic gates. Only issue is the latch is a bit awkward to operate with one hand..but it works fine.

I have 2 of these gates and love them. Can you buy the spring latch? Both of mine seem to have worn out and the spring isn’t very good.

How does the gate stay in place when it is free standing?
- The gate is quite sturdy. But also included are the free standing stabelizing legs, one for each end of the gate. It held up quite well.
