- It may work depending how aggressive your cat is when it climbs and runs. We have multiple cats in the house some are heavier and they are ok with it. But if you can I would opt for a more sturdier option to be on the safe side. - Linda

What is the level above the cave, below the hammock? It doesn't look big enough for a cat to lay there.
- It's pretty much just a step to make it easier to get into the hammock.

Are there any supporting posts inside the condo, or anything that would make it harder to get into?

- Hello Kari W: Thank you for your question. You can use this for a cat up to 12lbs. The top bed is a 19x10 The hammock is a 13.5" circle The entrance into the cave is a 6.5x7" and inside the cave is 11x12" Hope this helps. Thank you again.

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?

ways to stop cats from scratching furniture?
My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?
