Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
Hello! I'm looking for an inexpensive set of clippers for Mia. She has, what seems like, a double coat of hair now and since I don't have the means to take her to a groomer right now, I want to give her a nice trim since it's getting warmer, and because I want to be able to see any potential bugs that try to go on her. We have a 10 yr old BIG cat (23 lbs) who is in need of major grooming. He has thick clumps all over his back. Because of his size, he can't reach them. It's a big job, but the cat is very gentle. Is this a possibility for one of your cat groomers?
I'm dogsitting Pixi, 4,8 kg small breed for 2 weeks now. I gave her a haircut around the face so she could see better on our walks and then I noticed her eye appears to be pink, compared to the other. There is no discharge whatsoever. My vet is on vacation until early August, so the other option is an emergency clinic, which is pricey. I attached some pictures from before and after the haircut where the pink eye can be seen. My dog was taken to a groomer today& was forced to stand up on all fours on a small table for 2+ hrs straight. She's a 165lb St. Bernard,& gets drained from even running for less than 5min. She's extremely lively and always gets up when someone comes home, she hears the ice machine, or wants to follow her family into another room. But after she came home she did none of that. She can't get up st all and barely made it home. Ive been icing her legs. How can I properly treat this muscle fatigue??

Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. Hello, my dog is about 8 years old. She is a Maltese mix. I adopted her but do not have her paperwork. Recently I noticed two of her back legs nails (one on each paw) has curled all the way into her paw pad & I can see flesh. She does have a limp but since I’ve had her she does not seem to be in pain. She will barely let me trim her white nails much less the curled black ones, she freaks out. I want to give her proper care but Im not sure she will get serviced without her papers. What can I do ?
Having friend groom my foster yorkie. I have been sheltering in place since March and concerned about contact from outside. I am going to shampoo dog, groomer is just going to give dog a serious cut.
