This cat tree is just amazing. When I came across this, I just had to get it. I just love this design. It's easy to assemble...and it just screams "relaxing" to me. To have a hammock as part of a cat tree is too cute, and my kitty loves it! This is the most unique one I've bought. The quality, material and design is beyond pleasing.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the hammock/basket?

Neither of my cats use the hammock, but my kitten (7 months, 7lbs) sleeps in the basket every day. My older/larger cat (8 years, 12 lbs) has climbed in the basket without it bending/falling, but he is too big to comfortably curl up in it.
