A well-balanced tomato frog diet consists of a variety of insects, including gut-loaded (recently fed) crickets, mealworms and fruit flies.
Wearing latex gloves while handling amphibians protects you from any toxins secreted by the amphibian, and the amphibian from any oils on your hand.

What's a good food for Green Tree Frogs
Do you know about frogs? I have a Pacific tree frog & today it has a dark green almost black spot on its throat & a black dot on its belly near its back leg. It wasnt there 2 days ago. I'm really worried.
My frog is not eating since I bought it 2 days ago, it stays sticked to the tank's glass most of the time, it's skin color is dark green. I gave it a cricket and a worm.
Am trying to find Amphibian food for my Grey’s Tree Frog with out vitamin D3. What will D3 do to the frog (male)

My bearded dragon caught a common toad (Bufo bufo) in the backyard and ate it.Next morning she vomited the toad undigestet with some other insects i gave her.She didnt wanted to eat and now,the day afer,is very introvert and depressed. She vomits everything I give her but drinks water.I read online that bufotoxin can kill them if they dont vomit the toad...So is there any hope and what should i do?We dont have any specialist for reptiles here so please help me,I love her so much :(.Thanks so much
Hi, my names kayla and I have an African dwarf frog who’s about 10 years old. He has recently looked like there is a bunch of air in his stomach but I read online it could be fluid, as you can see in the last photo there also looks like there is a line of blood on his stomach and a dot on his throat and I have no clue what it is. I’ve read about frogs getting dropsy but I just don’t know if this is that. Frogs with dropsy go from normal to a ballon in a week and my frogs looked like this 3 weeks
When I bought my white tree frog from Petsmart it had what looks like an old scar on his leg (see attached picture). So far he has been acting as normal as my other white tree frog, other than being a little shy and better at hiding. I've had him for over a week now, should I warrant concern? (And what is something I can do if there is.)
does he look healthy? as in what a normal pac-man frog should look like?
