The Tobacco Basslet are very hardy additions to nearly any aquarium. Tobacco Basslets are larger compared to others in their genus with a max size of just over 7". These fish are planktivores in the wild, so they are used to eating foods suspended in the water column. This means they are both easy to feed and highly unlikely to bother sessile invertebrates. However, they might make a meal out of small ornamental shrimps and crabs. They are peaceful, and so multiple Basslets can be added at one time which mimics their wild distribution. Feed these fish small meaty foods a couple times a day since they have a high metabolism. They will eagerly take processed foods fairly quickly. They are known for the pattern on their eyes that make the Tobaccos look grumpy. The Tobacco Basslet is found in shallow rocky or coral bottoms within the Western Atlantic and can usually be found up to 70 meters deep.

Betta fish has ick near its eye
I've recently just purchased a fancy black gold fish and this white looking fish. The white fish looks as if it is pecking at the black gold fish and now it looks like my black gold fish is white. Exactly we're the white fish is sucking at. What's going on
My betta has red tips on his tail and my cat fish Cory has red spots as well
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
