I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.

Tot has a nasal tumor and chicken and rice is the only thing she wants to eat that does not cause diarrhea. I want to keep giving her the chicken and rice, since she loves it, but I know this is not nutritionally adequate. She is still a happy dog, with the usual senior energy level. Very small 12 oz chihuahua puppy. Breeder fed Royal Canin puppy and canned puppy food. I have had her for 1 week. She was eating her food, with water added. Now she doesn't like it. Also having trouble getting her to drink water. I finally used an eye dropper and she is talking water from that. She is just 2 months old. What over puppy food is best for her breed? Hello I'm Candace I have 2 Yorkies they both have pancreatitis. I usually feed them moistened diamond puppy and boiled or canned chicken. A lady at Petco suggested I mixed in some grain free fresh pet food mixture and alternate with freeze dried Stella &Chewy's meal mixture (which is moistened with warm water). She said grain free bcuz they often have diarrhea or soft/mucas poop or my male dog has trouble pooping. I did this for 2 days. They love it but have had some soft poop. Is this normal?
