Questions
I noticed some reviews showing white fibers (hairs?) and green plastic bits in the food. Has this problem been fixed?
- I don’t know but my cat has been eating it for years and I haven’t noticed anything.

What is the percentage of magnesium in this food?
- Please reach out to us direct at mail@tikipets.com. We are happy to share this information with you!

Can this be used on a diabetic 10 year old cat??
- It can cause glucose levels to spike as with all dry food since they have much higher levels of carbohydrates. Tiki cat wet foods tend to be better as they have higher levels of protein compared to dry foods. But with everything talk with your vet and see what they recommend

What is the % carbohydrates on the dry Tiki Cat Carnivore Chicken & Egg?
- The simple calculation can be found on line. I just wanted to comment that this food does help lower and regulate my cat diabetes. It's not specifically for diabetes but I notice the glucose is higher when I give him another brand of dry food (that he goes crazy for) that is more corn based. It's expensive but it helps.

Why does the Tiki Deboned chicken & egg 11.1 # bag say 9.2# herring & salmon? The ingredients say chicken.
- Tiki Deboned Chicken & Egg is not made with Herring and Salmon. The ingredients on the bag are correct but the picture of the bag on the Petco site is wrong. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We are getting it fixed as quickly as possible.

How much do you feed a 12 lb. cat a day?
- My male cat is about 22lbs and he eats 1/2 to 3/4 a cup per day... closer to 3/4 a cup most of the time. No wet food, that's all he eats and that's the amount he chooses. He's a little fat, but he's handsome and healthy.

How large are the pellets?
- Hi, the pellets in our food are volcano shaped and are approximately 5mm wide by 3mm tall
