I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
My cat coughs up hairballs a few times a week and sometimes vomits undigested food after eating. He eats very quickly so I'm wondering if that's what could be causing the regurgitation. I feed him Royal Canin and Tiki Cat wet food in the morning and a mixture of Solid Gold wet food and Royal Canin dry food in the evening. He uses the litter box with no issues and drinks plenty of water. Is there any supplement I can give him or food that will help?
