I mean, it's for cats and I'm a human, but it certainly looks pretty good to me, and I thought my cats would go crazy for it. You can see all the chunks and shreds of meat in it, AND you can actually tell which is beef and which is chicken! That's how little processed it is. It comes in quite a bit of broth, too, which can really help cats stay hydrated. But my very picky girls weren't wild about it. They did eventually eat it, but only after they realized I wasn't offering them any alternatives. It wasn't their first choice, and I was disappointed to see that. I hope it becomes an acquired taste for them because I think it's a very good high-quality food. It's grain-free and there's no potato or other fillers like corn, soy, or wheat. In fact, the first SIX ingredients are either meat products or broth! It doesn't get much better than that, aside from a raw diet, and who wants to mess around with that?! This is a great high-protein cat food, perfect for all life stages and definitely worth trying, but you might want to buy only one or two cans to make sure your cats like it before investing in the whole 12-pack.

From the first time I opened a can, they was curious about the smell and didn’t hesitate to dig in — especially for wet food with broth. The texture with shredded meat in broth seemed to appeal to both of them more than the pate styles eaten before. As a pet parent, I appreciated the whole-food ingredients — real chicken and beef were clearly there, and the broth looked natural. I felt good about feeding it because it didn’t seem full of fillers or artificial stuff, and I liked the added hydration the broth provided. Would I buy this again? Yes because I know my cats will eat it, and I like offering something that has quality ingredients. Would I recommend it to other cat parents? Definitely — especially if your cat likes broth and shredded meat textures.
