The Tiger Barbs are a great semi-aggressive schooling fish to recommend to the beginner hobbyist. The males have exquisite colorations of yellow, while the females are usually a little duller but still beautiful. Keeping them happy is pretty simple and they will acclimate to an aquarium setting fairly easily. They prefer planted aquariums with rocks and drift where they can hide and swim through. The Tiger Barb will accept just about any food that is dropped into the tank from freshwater flakes to frozen meaty foods.

I got 2 tiger barbs today and already placed them in their tank. They are staying close together under a plastic plant that I put in and don't move or go to eat the food I placed in. What do I do? These are my first ever tiger barbs so I don't know how to take care of them in depth.
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
My betta has red tips on his tail and my cat fish Cory has red spots as well

I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. I have bought an odessa barb about a month ago. About 2 weeks ago she started to form a sandlike, white "bump". I then treated the tank for ich, but now my barb has three areas where its red under the white thing. The white bump is more like flesh, i think. Help?..
Betta fish has ick near its eye

I got a red barb a couple months ago and I thought it was just a little bit deformed. But today I looked at the fish and it has a white thing that came out of its skin where I thought its body was the most crooked. So I would like to know maybe what the white thing is and if I should put the fish in quarantine.
