I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. I found out that mittens doesn’t like scented litter and was refusing to use the litter box. So I bought him arm and hammer unscented litter. I put him in the litter box and he sniffed it and jumped out. What should I do now? He has been going potty in the shower, should I put the litter box in the shower?
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?

My cat has balding on her front legs and belly and one paw is puffy, cracked and tender. She sometimes limps if she jumps down on that paw. What could this be? I see no sign of rash or fleas. Have 2 male 4-month old brothers (orange tabby's.
